The module is part of the configuration
The attached front-screen or power module contributes power and the card expansion slot. When evaluating an accessory or a use case, name the whole assembly rather than only “Action 2.”
DJI explicitly excludes both modules from waterproof operation without the waterproof case. Stop and check the complete assembly before taking it underwater; attaching a module changes which water-use instructions apply.
Charging priority and an unresponsive camera
When the camera is attached to a front-screen or power module for charging, the camera unit charges first. The order matters when checking why the module has not yet gained as much charge as expected.
If the camera unit becomes unresponsive, the manual gives a restart action: hold Power/Record for 20 seconds. This is a documented restart, not a repair for liquid damage or an instruction to open the sealed unit.
