Theme preference
The site stores a local color-theme preference in your browser when you switch between light and dark mode. It is not sent to My Device Guide as part of an account profile.
Privacy-first site measurement
Cloudflare Web Analytics measures page usage and real-user performance without setting analytics cookies or using browser storage to identify individual visitors. Google Analytics 4 measures a limited set of page and engagement events. Its analytics storage is denied by default, so the Google tag does not set or read analytics cookies unless the visitor grants the applicable consent. While consent is denied, the tag may send cookieless measurement and consent-state signals.
Google Analytics site-search and form-interaction measurement are disabled. My Device Guide does not send the text entered into Model Finder, Fit Checker or correction forms to Google Analytics. Google Signals and advertising-personalization signals are also disabled in the site configuration.
Advertising storage
The site has published an ads.txt authorization for future Google AdSense use, but Google advertising code is not currently enabled. If ads are enabled on eligible pages, Google and its advertising partners may use cookies or similar local storage for ad delivery, fraud prevention, frequency controls, measurement and personalization where permitted by the visitor's consent and applicable law.
Consent and withdrawal
The site asks whether you want to allow Google Analytics storage. Your selection is saved locally in this browser. You can reopen the choice through “Manage analytics settings” in the footer and withdraw analytics permission at any time. Advertising storage and personalization remain denied in either case.
Google's certified consent management platform for future advertising use is configured separately but its delivery tag and Google advertising code are not currently enabled.
