Keep file transfer separate from capture
The camera offers separate formatting choices for its internal storage and microSD card. Before clearing either, establish where the originals are stored and back up the files that matter. Formatting is an erase operation, not an archive.
A USB connection for computer file transfer also has an operational limit: the manual says the camera cannot take photos or record videos during that transfer. Do not treat a successful file connection as confirmation that you can keep filming at the same time.
Read the slow-motion number as processing, not native capture
The up-to-960fps mode uses 4x frame interpolation and produces 1080p output. That makes the interpolation step part of the feature description. When comparing footage or planning an edit, retain both the output resolution and the fact that frames are generated; quoting the headline frame rate alone leaves out that distinction.
Which battery charges first?
The battery case starts with the battery that has the highest remaining charge. If several batteries are inserted, do not assume the emptiest one will be handled first; the documented priority is the opposite.
