Start with the original model’s setup
Complete activation in DJI Mimo and prepare the specified recording card before treating the camera as ready for an outing. These are separate requirements: app activation does not supply storage, and inserting a card does not replace activation.
The source used here is the original Osmo Action manual. Later products carrying the Osmo Action name should not be used to fill gaps in this model’s storage or accessory specification.
Use the rear touchscreen for gestures
The manual’s touchscreen gestures refer to the rear touchscreen. The front display is not a second surface for those gestures, so an ignored swipe there should not immediately be interpreted as a touchscreen fault.
The original manual lists video up to 4K 60fps and 12 MP photos. These are manufacturer specifications, not evidence that a particular used camera is in working condition or that later-generation recording features have been added.
