Prusa lists firmware 7.0.0 for CORE One L+ and CORE One+

The official downloads page dates both listings to 2026-10-05. Listed new features include automatic HT hotend detection, PPS and PPA presets for the HT hotend, PVA and BVOH presets, and a Runout Reaction setting for immediate or delayed filament-runout handling. Entries tagged with older versions are carried-forward notes, not evidence that those fixes originated in 7.0.0.

Why it matters: Check the exact printer section and its configuration-specific package before updating. HT material presets do not establish that a standard hotend supports those materials. These two listings do not establish 7.0.0 compatibility with CORE One INDX, whose separate section still lists 6.9.1.

Why it matters: Owners should identify their exact printer configuration and check the official update instructions before installing firmware. These release notes alone do not establish compatibility with non-INDX CORE One configurations.

Bambu Lab ends P1P production and separates update and parts-support deadlines

The official notice dated 2026-02-10 records the end of P1P manufacturing and active sales on 2026-02-10. It lists bug fixes and feature updates through 2027-11-14, security patches through 2029-11-14, and technical support until 2031-02-10. Spare-part supply is planned through 2031-02, with a warning that specific accessories may sell out earlier. The same notice says P1S remains in production; this is not a new check of local stock.

Why it matters: For overseas owners and used-printer buyers, assess software maintenance and replacement parts separately: the five-year service period does not extend either software-update deadline. Identify the exact printer and confirm the required part through official support before buying. The announcement says most P1P and P1S spares interchange, which does not establish compatibility for every named hotend, kit or assembly. End of production is also distinct from immediate loss of existing functions; future feature availability beyond the stated policy is not guaranteed here.
