Match the reminder to the component
After each use: clean the used-water tank. Every 2 weeks: maintain the main brush and dustbox filter. Monthly: maintain charging contacts and sensors. Follow the component’s own instructions rather than assuming every part can be washed or removed in the same way.
Hot mop washing does not clean every other component
The station washes and hot-air-dries the mops. Its maximum wash-water outlet temperature is 158°F (70°C), tested at an ambient 73.4°F (23°C), and actual temperature varies. That wash claim does not cancel the separate used-water-tank, brush, filter, contact or sensor schedule.
If charging contacts need cleaning, the manual specifies a soft dry cloth after shutdown and unplugging. If a problem persists beyond the documented user checks, contact Dreame rather than attempting an unlisted repair.
