Prepare safely before touching the contacts
Switch off the robot and unplug the station before any maintenance. For charging contacts, use a dry cloth. The manual does not turn a contact-cleaning task into permission to open the battery.
Keep routine care and replacement on separate lists
Weekly: roller brush and filter maintenance. Every 2 weeks: side-brush maintenance. About monthly: charging-contact maintenance.
Replacement is a separate schedule: roller brush every 6–12 months and filter every 3–6 months. Do not replace those intervals with the ZeroTangle marketing name or transfer them to a different model.

Move from care to fault checking when charging fails
A charging fault needs the documented checks for robot power, station power, base installation and contact alignment. If those checks and safe contact cleaning do not resolve it, contact ECOVACS. Do not disassemble the battery.

No. The manual separates weekly filter maintenance from replacement every 3–6 months. Keep those as different tasks rather than treating a cleaning interval as a replacement interval.
