区分出入控制与定时投喂
这里的已发布指南覆盖 SmartDoor Connected 与 Smart Feed 第二代：前者为已识别宠物管理出入，后者按计划提供食物。应从家庭任务选择，不能预期每种智能宠物设备都同时具备识别与投喂。
选择前先写清宠物、食物或门体需求。宠物门的关键是尺寸和识别方式，喂食器则是食物类型、份量流程及供电计划。共用 My PetSafe 应用不会消除设备约束，也不证明附件通用。

SmartDoor 芯片支持与尺寸有关
Medium 与 Large SmartDoor 都随附 Pet Door Key，但植入芯片访问只对使用 Medium 门的猫有明确记录。购买前要核对支持的芯片类型及宠物实际标识，不能因为较小版本支持就默认 Large 也可读取。
应一起确定门口尺寸与识别路线。如果需要项圈钥匙，应为具体宠物做好安排，不能依赖已有植入芯片。详细兼容指南保留准确范围，比笼统写 SmartDoor 支持芯片更有用。

宠物门供电与计划需对应实际配置
Medium SmartDoor 使用四节 C 型碱性电池，Large 使用四节 D 型碱性电池，两者都有可选适配器。采购电池必须对应所选尺寸，不应依赖泛泛 SmartDoor 描述；网络和应用设置也仍是独立要求。
My PetSafe 提供按宠物设置计划、远程锁定及通知，这说明联网流程，不保证每个动物无需训练就能使用门，也不让计划替代检查宠物和真实开口。安装与操作应遵循准确尺寸对应的说明。

Smart Feed 需分别核对份量、食物与网络
Smart Feed 第二代具有 24 杯干粮或半湿粮容量，每日最多安排 12 餐，每餐为 1/8 杯至 4 杯，家庭网络需要 2.4 GHz。这些是设备条件，不是营养建议，实际餐量应先独立确定，再编程设置。
Slow Feed 适用于大于 1/8 杯的份餐，在 15 分钟内提供。兼容 Meal Splitter 是另一种记录的喂食安排，但同时进食不等于分别限制每只宠物食物，应明确附件解决什么问题，不能默认所有多宠选项都能分开记录摄入。
备用供电与支持需要具体计划
Smart Feed 的 AC 适配器与可选四节 D 型电池备用方案是不同供电条件，记录的套装不包含备用电池。安排投喂计划时应区分网络故障与断电，并对照实际供电配置的厂商说明。
