Compare that service choice with your actual reason for buying a camera-equipped litter box. The hardware is included, but the viewing allowance and archive length are separate from hardware ownership. Per-visit globe recording remains unconfirmed: the official guide also marks it as coming soon.

For several connected units, Whisker says a single membership covers devices linked to the same account. Check that account arrangement before assuming a separate membership is needed for each unit.

Do not skip the unresolved operating requirement

The household count and automatic-use weight are different checks. Whisker lists up to 5 cats, but the Pro product page starts the automatic-use range at 3 lb while the shared manual starts it at 2 lb; both extend to 30 lb. The manual explicitly includes Pro camera components, so its relevance cannot simply be dismissed.

Ask Whisker which instructions apply to the exact unit before relying on a threshold. The dedicated weight-safety page sets out the discrepancy; neither a compatible accessory nor a video subscription resolves it.

Check the connected setup and the bundle separately

The Pro supports 2.4 GHz or 5 GHz Wi-Fi with IPv4 or IPv6. Setup, connected controls and camera access use the Whisker app. Verify that network requirement against the home where the unit will be used.

For the bundle, distinguish optional add-ons from included consumables. The confirmed Pro relationships name LitterHopper for refill use, PetTag for identification, waste-drawer liners and a carbon filter.
