Sure Petcare · App and region guide

Follow the connected route from the feeder to the app

Direct answer

SureFeed Connect’s feeding records and app portion settings use a Sure Petcare Hub linked to the home router and Sure Petcare app. Installing the app alone does not replace that Hub. Pet recognition is a separate route using the feeder’s registered microchip or Sure Petcare RFID Collar Tag.

Begin with the result you cannot see

If your question is about a feeding record or a portion setting in the app, follow the connected route. Confirm that you are dealing with Microchip Pet Feeder Connect, the Sure Petcare app and the required Hub—not another feeder or a generic smart-home app.

If the problem is that the pet cannot open or use the bowl, begin with its registered identifier and, where relevant, lid training. A missing record alone does not identify the cause of a problem at the bowl.

Give the Hub its physical connection first

Sure Petcare specifies an Ethernet cable from the Hub to the home Wi-Fi router and mains power for the Hub. The cable is included. Before investigating app settings, confirm that the intended router connection and power supply are present; the word Wi-Fi in the router’s name does not make this a wireless Hub-to-router link.

The Hub supports up to 10 compatible devices. Count the connected products in your setup, not the pet identities stored in the feeder. A complete physical route and spare capacity are prerequisites to check, not proof of the cause of every app error.

A portion setting is followed by adding food

For the connected portion workflow, select wet food, dry food or both and set the target weight in the app. Then add food at the feeder: the LEDs illuminate as you fill and flash at the target. A saved app setting is not an instruction for the feeder to dispense that food automatically.

If records or settings are not behaving as expected, tell support what you tried to view or set, whether the pet is recognized at the bowl and how the Hub is connected. Do not change identifier registrations just to investigate missing app information.

Each answer stays within the facts and sources shown on this page.

01Does the Hub connect to my Wi-Fi router wirelessly?

Sure Petcare specifies the included Ethernet cable between the Hub and the router, plus mains power for the Hub. The product being a Wi-Fi router does not make that Hub connection wireless.
