Whisker
Without Whisker+, both Litter-Robot 5 Pro cameras can be viewed live for up to five minutes per day and front-camera events are retained for two days. Whisker+ adds unlimited live viewing and 30-day storage. The official guide conflicts on whether per-visit globe recordings are currently available, so that feature remains Unknown. You can disable the cameras in Whisker app > View Camera > Controls.
Tractive
The U.S. Tractive DOG 6 weighs 39 g (1.4 oz), is documented for dogs from 4 kg (8.8 lb), and requires a subscription. Battery life is rated up to 14 days with Power Saving Zones or 6 days without them. Its exact waterproof rating or cover dependency remains Unknown because official sources conflict. Stop using a visibly damaged tracker, and do not charge it if it is swollen, excessively hot or showing blue moisture LEDs.
Whisker
The U.S. Litter-Robot 5 is documented for up to 5 cats, has a listed empty weight of 28.7 lb, uses 2.4 GHz Wi-Fi, works through the Whisker app and does not require Whisker+. Its exact automatic cat-weight range and exterior dimensions remain Unknown because current official sources conflict. Unplug the unit before sensor inspection or service, and keep the bonnet and base dry.
Sure Petcare
Use the Training Function button to advance the lid through its staged positions. Keep the feeder at the current movement level until the pet is confident, and only then continue to the next stage. Do not force progression when the pet is not comfortable.

The Sure Petcare Hub connects to a home router and links compatible Sure Petcare Connect products to the Sure Petcare app. One Hub supports up to 10 compatible devices, and the captured U.S. product record lists it as 69 mm high by 90 mm wide.

For pet access, register an identification microchip or use the official Sure Petcare RFID Collar Tag; the feeder stores up to 32 identities. For app-connected monitoring and portion setting, add a Sure Petcare Hub connected to the home router. One Hub supports up to 10 compatible Connect devices. This does not establish that cloud access is required for basic selective feeding.
Sure Petcare
The U.S. SureFeed Microchip Pet Feeder Connect grants access by a registered identification microchip or Sure Petcare RFID Collar Tag, stores up to 32 pet identities, provides 1 g portion guidance and has a 400 ml bowl. It uses four C-cell batteries with typical battery life stated as six months. App-connected monitoring and portion setting require a Sure Petcare Hub; the official product record does not say that basic selective feeding requires cloud access.
Whisker
For the U.S. Litter-Robot 5 Pro, Whisker documents up to five cats, automatic use at 3-30 lb, integrated front and litter-bed cameras, 2.4 or 5 GHz Wi-Fi, and Whisker-app control. Basic camera access is available without Whisker+, while recording depth and live-view limits change with membership.
PETLIBRO
Use the dedicated PETLIBRO RFID collar tag. One feeder syncs with one such tag. PETLIBRO explicitly says the feeder does not recognize an implanted pet microchip, and the captured product page does not support other-brand tags.
Tractive
CAT 6 Mini weighs 32 g with its integrated safety-release collar, fits cats weighing 3-8 kg with 19-22.9 cm necks, measures 95 x 20 x 13 mm, is IP68 waterproof and is rated up to seven days with Power Saving Zones. It requires an active Tractive subscription and is not a medical device.
Tractive
Choose CAT 6 Mini only if your cat is within the documented 3-8 kg weight and 19-22.9 cm neck ranges and the integrated safety-release collar fits correctly. An active Tractive subscription is required. Treat health patterns as monitoring signals, not a diagnosis.
PETLIBRO
PETLIBRO identifies this U.S. feeder as PLAF301 with a 3 L tank, 2-15 mm dry-kibble support, 2.4 and 5 GHz Wi-Fi, and PETLIBRO-app scheduling. It identifies one pet through one dedicated PETLIBRO RFID collar tag; it does not read an implanted microchip.
PetSafe
The U.S. SmartDoor Connected comes in Medium and Large, uses My PetSafe for schedules, notifications and remote locking, and offers battery or optional adapter power. Implanted-microchip pairing is documented only for cats using the Medium door; use the matching Pet Door Key for dogs, Large doors or unsupported chips.
PetSafe
Use an implanted microchip only for a cat using the Medium SmartDoor and only if it is FDX-B 15-digit, FDX-A 10-digit, AVID H or AVID Encrypted 9/15-digit. Use the Medium Pet Door Key for the Medium door and the Large key for the Large door in all other documented cases.
